Yesterday was Logan's 1st Birthday. We had his favorites for dinner: restaurant style macaroni and cheese, watermelon and a good artisan bread. We opened up gifts first - we shouldn't have. Logan needed the help of the whole family to get his present open fast enough, he was shaking with excitement as soon as he saw the riding toy. He had his siblings open his other gifts while he rode around the living room. He cried when we tried to take him off it for cake . . . He stayed on the toy. Robert had to blow the candle out for him as he was reaching to touch the flame. He didn't have cake and ice cream, he was too excited to play with his new toy and realize the other presents were fun to play with also.
