Last week some chicks at the Poultry Science Department hatched. We went for Family Home Evening to see them. The girls were thrilled. They have been waiting, since moving here, for chicks to hatch. Logan was so excited and kept petting them like he was petting a dog. We had to keep an eye on Logan, because he would reach into the box to pick them up on his own. Jake, who has been the the chicken farm and knows how loud and stinky they get when their bigger (see "Feeding Chickens" 11/11/07 post) wasn't too sure of the chicks and we had to make him hold one and only for the picture before he wanted to put it back.
Only Jake was excited to leave when we were done.
