Alyssa is running cross country at school this year.
Alyssa has loved running with the team and one day, early in the season, told me that it was a good thing she liked cross country because she was so sore from the training workout they did during practice.
We finally got a camera to a meet.
This was her third meet. She's about 1/3 of the way in from the right.
Here she is settling into the race.
At the end she pushed it and ended up passing up the girl in the yellow. The girl wasn't too pleased about that.
The races have varied in distance, so Robert figured out what her mile time was for each and this race was her best time yet!
