Natalie loves to cook and loves trying new food things out. Summertime gives her lots of time to tinker around the kitchen.
The other morning she tried out a recipe for stuffed french toast.
It was very tasty. I think I'll like her being in the kitchen more often.
Yesterday, we met some friends at the lake at Sandy Creek Park.
We spent the day in the sand and the sun
and the water!
Unfortunately, Natalie had stepped on a rock the day before, taking off a bit of her big toe.
With that recent wound, she had to stay out of the sand (notice the sock) and the water.
She wasn't too happy about it and her books didn't distract her for as long as the boys wanted to play. But, we had fun while we were there and will go back again once Natalie can join in all the fun also!
