Early Mornings for Logan

Although a bit early for Logan, I brought him along for two breakfasts at school this past week.
The first was Wednesday at the "Tribal Cafe" - Alyssa's middle school is home of the Braves.
Alyssa had in Family and Consumer Science (aka Home Ec) this past quarter. The 8th graders get to do the "Tribal Cafe" at the end of the quarter. They learned about and wrote resumes, filled out job applications for a job they wanted at the cafe, and interviewed for the job.
Alyssa applied for a waitress position, and got it (she is back and center in the brown shirt holding the clipboard).
There were also cooks, manager, hosting, bus boy, cashier, and dishwasher. Then they set up the classroom for service and invited parents and teachers for breakfast. When you were seated and given a menu there was play money inside to pay for your meal.
There were two breakfast plates - pancakes and bacon or eggs, sausage, and grits.
Logan was so excited to have the money. We used my $10 to pay and he got to keep his.
See, he's looking a bit sleepy still. The food was good and service wonderful (a bit bias here, Alyssa was our server).

The next day was Jake's 2nd grade breakfast.
See, all looking a bit sleepy still. :)
Cafeteria pancakes, sausage pattie and orange slices - can't beat that!
And it's great spending time with Jake at school.
