UGA Womens Soccer

Last week the girls and I went to the UGA Womens Soccer game vs LSU.
During half time, Natalie's rec soccer team was going to scrimmage another rec team (along with a bunch of other rec teams of all age brackets). There were probably six little 5-minute scrimmages going on during half time.Natalie's team played by the goal (in pink).
At first I thought that the other team hadn't shown up and they were just playing against themselves, but when they were coming off the field I realized that Natalie's team (pink and black stripes) was playing a team with pink and blue striped jerseys! We haven't played them yet during their season. I can't wait to see the ref make calls during that game. :)
We had had dinner with friends earlier and made it to the game just before half time. We stayed the rest of the game.
UGA won 1-0! We were there for the goal.
It's a good thing they finally made one. If you check out the scoreboard below, you can see with 16 minutes left UGA had already made 14 shots on goal (top left side number) compared to the 2 shots on goal LSU had.
The ball in the picture below was from a corner kick and you can see a white blur near the middle of the goal with everyone in the clump trying to head it.
(This one wasn't the scoring goal.)
It is always fun to watch and try and show Natalie and Alyssa things they should work on when they play.
We had a fun evening together.
