We love heading to the Fernbank Science Museum in Atlanta.
We got a chance to see the whale exhibit before it leaves.
It was a fabulous exhibit on loan from a museum in New Zealand (so we weren't allowed to take pictures in the exhibit).
Alyssa was there with us, but didn't want in any pictures because she was having a bad hair day.
Perfectly understandable. :)
One of the coolest parts was a model of a heart of a blue whale - large enough for all FOUR kids to get inside the main chamber!
After seeing the temporary exhibit, we love checking out our favorite permanent exhibits at the museum, like the "Sensing Nature" room,
all about light and sound.
We did notice a spell check error in the "what's going on" with one of the displays. It seems that sometimes your "brain" thinks one way, but your "brian" thinks another.
We always enjoy our time at Fernbank and it was a perfect way to spend a rainy first day of spring break.
