We haven't had much happening here lately. (That will change very soon - stay posted)
We've just been running through some illness and trying to get and stay healthy. We did have a mishap with the computer keyboard, but Robert thought that was too silly to post.
There was a "hooray!! woo-hoo!! and high-5s all around" moment last week.
Logan has been going to speech since September. He leaves the ending sound off of some words and doesn't say some of his letter sounds correctly or switches them - "k", "t", "g", etc - and I just wanted him to get up to speed.
We love his speech teacher, Miss Paula. He has been making good progress with remembering to put the "caboose" sound on his words. And we've been using a popsicle stick to help his tongue stay back to say the "k" and "gu" sound.
Last Wednesday at speech he said the "gu" sound without the help of the popsicle stick!!! A great day at speech.
At home we play games with the alphabet flash cards for practice. Friday he said "egg" without any "gu" prompting! and then right after that "duck" with the "k" sound at the end! and both without using the popsicle stick!
For many this might not seem like anything super special, but . . . way to go Logan!!

Ok, now I'm totally curious about what we are staying tuned for? What's going on in Georgia? Is this why you have to talk to Robert and call me tomorrow? Hmmm...Can't wait to hear from you!
You're just staying tuned for posts of my parents visiting, winter break, and the girls and I going to Savannah at the end of the month. :) But a lot more than what's been happening the last couple of weeks.
