A Visit From Grandma and Grandpa Lehnardt

We were so glad my parents made it in before our snowstorm.
They came to visit before they leave on a mission, for our church, to Madagascar (yes, you read that correctly - that island off the east coast of Africa) for two years.
Their original flight into Atlanta was canceled, but after quickly looking around they found a flight into Nashville and drove in from there.
We LOVED having them here for a couple of days!
(this picture was AFTER the snow had melted)
They enjoyed the snow with us - although that limited our going and doing some things.
In the picture below, my dad had just thrown a snowball at my mom!
Natalie and Grandpa built some snowmen (one is pictured below).
Here is Grandpa making it a "cool" snowman.
After spending the morning playing in the snow, we went to a late lunch.
Grandpa shared his testimony with us, in Malagasy - which he is learning so he can share it with the people of Madagascar. We always love hearing him share his testimony of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.
We (Alyssa, Grandma, Natalie and I) played many rounds of Clue. I think Alyssa would claim most wins, although it was pretty even.
Of course we wish they could have spent longer with us, especially since we won't see them for two years, but after going to church, a big Sunday dinner (for lunch), and a couple of more rounds of Clue, they had to leave.
We love them dearly and we will miss them, but we are so excited that they are going on a mission!
