1st Grade Breakfast

Last week was the 1st grade breakfast, where parents and siblings can come eat with their student. It kind of sneaked up on me, good thing I paid in advance!
We sat with Jake's good friend and his mom.

Pancakes, sausage, fruit - how can you pass up that kind of school breakfast!

Logan did not enjoy the morning up to the breakfast. He got woken up so we could take Alyssa into school early and changed into clothes in the car so we could go to the breakfast. Once Robert arrived, he was a bit happier.

Once Jake was there, and we picked out some chocolate milk, he was thrilled!

Logan didn't know that this was the hug good-bye picture (he is looking strangled because he is trying to turn his head to the camera and hug his brother at the same time - we've gotta work on that "side" hug). When we left he ran out to hold the door for Jake - the door to go out to the car. He cried when Jake went down the hall to class instead of out with us back home.
Logan will be so ready to go to school in two more years.
