Harvesting . . . . again!

I have stopped counting how often I have blogged about our garden - and will mention one more time that our garden has grown in spurts. This time around it was our jalapeno plants.
Robert decided to take off all the ones that were ripe and over ripening and leave the small ones to enjoy one at a time, pizza, salsa, etc.
What to do with three bowls of jalapenos?!
Make jelly.(not all the jars are pictures - BY FAR!)
Once we made 6 batches and sneezed too many times to count we are done!
Not that all the jalapenos were gone, but we were done making jelly!
We had enough red ones to do a batch, and then did the rest green. Those red jars will definitely have to be labeled! But we'll hopefully see the seeds on the bottom before thinking it is some fruity jelly.
If you would like to be put on our jalapeno jelly Christmas gift list . . . let me know!
