Lazy Days of Summer

The last few days before school started found us at the river. There weren't too many days left to swim and have people over in the middle of the week. The water and mostly shady river gave some relief from the warm (ok - HOT) temperatures we have been having.

Logan got very comfortable with being in the water. Not necessarily a good thing, but good that the river is mostly shallow. Another good thing is that he wants to ALWAYS be with Alyssa (not a good thing for Alyssa). He would walk across the river to her, getting chest high. Alyssa was very good to play with him.

There were shells to dive for and tadpoles to find (even some with legs).

Now we'll have to wait for the weekends.
