The last day of school was this past Friday. The kids had a day of activities with the school's field day (both Natalie and Jake at elementary school and Alyssa at middle school). They came home ready to play all summer.
It started with a fort for Natalie and Jake's sleep over. Each had a side for their bed. In the beginning they were hoping to close the "door", but they needed a light and it quickly got warm inside.
We took off the square over their heads and they enjoyed their night in their fort!
Since then it the foam floor squares (which usually cover the playroom in the basement) have been used to build towers, triangles, tunnels and more!
Let the summer fun begin!
